The Beautiful Truth is a documentary film from filmmaker Steve Kroschel (Avalanche, Dying to Have Known). It features Garrett, a 15-year-old raised on a wildlife reserve in Alaska.

Garrett is a boy who has always been attach to anture. He lives with orphaned animals, and over the years he’s become especially sensitive to the nutritional needs of the diet-sensitive animals he’s charged with caring for.

After the tragic death of his mother, Garrett’s father decided to home-school his son. His first assignment: study a controversial book written by Dr. Max Gerson, a physician who claims to have discovered a diet that’s capable of curing cancer.

In order to find out the effectiveness of Dr. Gerson’s therapy, Garrett meets not only Dr. Gerson’s family members, but various doctors, skeptics, and cancer patients as well to talk about the alternative and natural cure. His studies completed and his findings revelatory, Garrett now sets out to tell the entire world about The Gerson Miracle.

A rogue with an eye for salvage – and the ladies – Ray: A Life Underwater is an affectionate portrait of one man’s deep sea diving career, told through his extraordinary collection of marine artefacts.

Like a modern-day pirate, 75-year-old Ray Ives has been scouring the seabed for treasure his whole life.

The former commercial diver has plundered the deep for over fifty years, bringing to the surface anything that glittered — even gold.

In a shipping container near the water, Ray tends his museum of cannon, bottles, bells, swords, portholes and diving gear.

He even still takes to the water in a 1900s diving suit.
