It talks about the outstanding project Fesnojiv. “Founded by Venezuelan economist and musician José Antonio Abreu El Sistema has now 30 symphony orchestras. But its greatest achievement are the 250,000 children who attend its music schools around the country, 90 percent of them from poor socio-economic backgrounds.”

Mai’s America is a documentary video featuring an intimate portrait of a spunky Vietnamese teenager named Mai who lands in rural Mississippi, giving us an outsider’s glimpse of America.

Mai gets the chance of a lifetime—to study in the United States. Expecting Hollywood, she instead lands in rural Mississippi. Nothing in her wildest imagination prepares Mai for her crash landing in rural Mississippi …where her relationships with white Pentecostal and black Baptist host-families, self-proclaimed red-necks, transvestites, and South Vietnamese immigrants challenge her long-held ideas about America , about herself, about freedom, and even about Vietnam.

The wonderful movie above explores playful uses for the increasingly ubiquitous ‘glowing rectangles’ that inhabit the world combining iPad and light painting. It is the goal of Dentsu London, the creative comunications agency together with BERG.

They use photographic and animation techniques that were developed to draw moving 3-dimensional typography and objects with an iPad.

It also offers a detailed understanding of each three words. “Making”, with its emphasis on craftsmanship, understanding of materials and media, and collaboration;“Future”, meaning something not seen before, something new and unexpected (not so much sci-fi, as near-future);and “Magic” – surprising, culturally powerful, unusual, capable of delighting.

Quite a lot of patients to put something like this together. Really amazing stuff!
