Fugazi – Instrument is a documentary film directed by Jem Cohen about the band Fugazi. Cohen’s relationship with band member Ian MacKaye extends back to the 1970s when the two met in high school in Washington, D.C.. The film takes its title from the Fugazi song of the same name, from their 1993 album, In on the Kill Taker.

FOR NEDA is a documentary featuring the true story of Neda Agha-Soltan. She became another tragic casualty of Iran’s violent crackdown on post-election protests on June 20, 2009. Unlike many unknown victims, however, she instantly became an international symbol of the struggle: Within hours of Agha-Soltan’s death, cell phone photographs of her blood-stained face were held aloft by crowds protesting in Tehran and across the world. With exclusive access to her family inside Iran, the documentary goes to the heart of who Neda was and what she stood for, illuminating the larger Iranian struggle for democratic freedoms through her powerful story. Directed by Antony Thomas.

Fukushima Disaster Documentary: Is Nuclear Power Safe? is a 58-minute documentary video that talks about the Fukushima, Chernobyl, and alternative nuclear power generation including Thorium.

Professor Jim Al-Khalili sets out to discover whether nuclear power is safe after six months of the explosions at th Fukushima nuclear plant and the release of radiation. He started in Japan where he meets some of the tens of thousands of people who have been evacuated from the exclusion zone. He travels to an abandoned village just outside the zone to witness a nuclear clean-up operation.

Jim also draws on the latest scientific findings from Japan and from the previous explosion at Chernobyl to understand how dangerous the release of radiation is likely to be and what that means for our trust in nuclear power.

Fuel is an inspiring and informative documentary film centered on director and alternative fuel activist Josh Tickell. It features his 11 year journey in different countries to find solutions to America’s addiction to oil. A shrinking economy, a failing auto industry, rampant unemployment, an out-of-control national debt, and an insatiable demand for energy weigh heavily on all of us.

It tells about the world’s dependence on crude oil, and how we as humans can seek to change this. Fuel shows us the way out of the mess we’re in by explaining how to replace every drop of oil we now use, while creating green jobs and keeping our money here at home.

The documentary film focuses on the positive side of finding interventions for this global energy crisis our oil-addicted world is facing.

Fuel could very well be the most empowering documentary movie. It is awarded for Audience Award documentary film in Sundance 2008.

The video above is a short and sweet documentary in collaboration with Wynkoop Brewery (wynkoop.com), Brown Palace Bee Hives (brownpalace.com), Design & Image (seebrandgo.com), Matter (morematter.com) and SMILEBOMB (smilebomb.tv)

It features each step of the process for creating a specialty brew called Pollinator F.C.B. (Firkin Creative Brew). The piece was released at the launch party for Create Denver Week 2011 to showcase the collaboration of multiple local Denver artists. From the bee hives/honey that went into the beer to the graphic designers brainstorming the logo, even the most cloistered individual would be inspired to join forces with other creatives to make something not possible by themselves.
