There is a crazy contest in Spain where people gather in the Catalan city of Tarragona and compete to build the highest, most intricate human tower.

Every two years, the competitors called ‘castellers’ gather for this one of a kind Catalan tradition that requires astonishing strength, fitnesse and balance. And most of all, courage.

Watch the video above from last year’s competition, and check out for the the toddlers that climb up at the very top of the towers and occasionally fall in a sea of people who act as a human cushion. The next event will be slated next year 2012.
